Lindsay and I toiled over the forecast a bit before her and Jack’s wedding this last weekend in October. Torrential downpours, howling winds, and bitter cold temperatures seemed to loom in the foreground. Yet, the day of their wedding, there was no rain, and while freezing, yes, so very cold, their whole bridal party were troopers and managed to transport themselves mentally to warmer climates and their happy place while we took a few photographs outside. I love the fall colors we were able to capture at Silver Swan. Surrounded by water on both sides, their are few places on the Chesapeake that are as stunning. I am so glad that Jack pursued this girl, for like, ever. Funny how, he just knew from the beginning that she was the one for him. Funny too, that it took Lindsay a little longer to get there, but it all worked out in the end. Thank you both for allowing me to capture your day, for rolling with the wind and the veil casualty we had, the turning blue, and thank you Jack for not jumping into save said veil. We like you better without Pneumonia. Much love and happiness to you both!! PS Sorry, not sorry there are so many of your niece and nephew in this post. <3
