Rachel and Nick’s Eastern Shore Wedding!

When you first meet Rachel and Nick you feel like you’ve known them forever. They are warm and inviting, funny, and easy going. They love their dog Ruby and all things Eastern Shore. If I had to some them both up in one word, I would say genuine. I am so lucky to have met Rachel through a mutual friend. We got together at Rustico in the Eastern Shore over some appetizers, and I immediately knew we were friends. 🙂 What I didn’t know at the time, was just how amazing Rachel’s sense of style and class were. I mean this girl was able to throw Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, and vintage class elements into her wedding and make it work beautifully. Rachel and Nick, congratulations to you both! I hope to see more of the two of you, and I wish you both much love and happiness!!

Katelyn and Nick Engagement

I seriously don’t know how I get so lucky to have such amazing couples to work with. Are there just a vast amount of laid back awesome people in the Annapolis area, or am I that blessed to get to meet and work with them? Put on top of that how absolutely gorgeous these two are, and well folks, you have yourself a rocking engagement session. Katelyn and Nick are so fun, and up for anything. Seriously, are photo shoot was really just hanging out together, and exploring the back roads of Annapolis. Yes, it was a 1000 degrees outside. Yes, a cold beer was in order. But these two championed on, and because of it, we have this amazing session to share! Thank you both! Can’t wait for the next adventure!

Rachel and Nick’s Eastern Shore Engagement Session

I met Rachel and Nick through my BFF a few months ago. And frankly, I have to tell said BFF that she has been holding out on me! I cannot even explain how wonderfully awesome it is to know Rachel and Nick. First let’s start with they have a rescue pittie. There are few things that warm my heart than rescue puppies, and they are great fur parents. So that makes me happy. Then let’s talk about just how fun, happy, and absolutely smitten they are with one another. I swear, they made my “job” so easy, as I tell them just to go hang out and love on each other. <3. I also have to give kudos to Nick who picked out engagement session location at an Inn he used to work at when he was younger. The couple, the puppy, the lighting, everything was perfect and came together. I can’t wait for their wedding in May and of course, all the times I plan on hanging out with them till then. ; ) Congratulations you two!!

Anniversary Session in Switzerland

Sigh… do I really need to say more?! It’s Switzerland with this beautiful couple! Ashley and Tyler are fellow photographers and I just loved that we were able to meet up with them in Interlaken Switzerland for an anniversary session full of water falls, winding paths (very winding), and the turquoise water of lake Brienz, not to mention tha Swiss Alps! Seriously, I wish we could have photographed all day. Everywhere we looked their was just this calm beauty. I cannot wait for more adventures in this beautiful country. Thank you for meeting up with me Ashley and Tyler, I wish you safe and adventurous travels in your journey together!

Mini Session in Iceland

This past month I had the opportunity to travel to Iceland on vacation. My husband and I explored glaciers, waterfalls, geysers, and hiked out countless mountains. But the last night we were there, I was able to meet up with Natalie for an impromptu mini session right outside of our bed and breakfast at Fitjar GuesthouseFitjar. Natalie was on vacation celebrating her graduation, and at 11pm (Yes, that is right 11pm. It never gets completely dark in the summer in Iceland.) , we decided to go out and take some photos so I could play and she could have some photo souvenirs of her trip. Thank you Natalie for being up for anything, and for being just so darn adorable!!!
