This past month I had the opportunity to travel to Iceland on vacation. My husband and I explored glaciers, waterfalls, geysers, and hiked out countless mountains. But the last night we were there, I was able to meet up with Natalie for an impromptu mini session right outside of our bed and breakfast at Fitjar GuesthouseFitjar. Natalie was on vacation celebrating her graduation, and at 11pm (Yes, that is right 11pm. It never gets completely dark in the summer in Iceland.) , we decided to go out and take some photos so I could play and she could have some photo souvenirs of her trip. Thank you Natalie for being up for anything, and for being just so darn adorable!!!

Adorable is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Craig and Katie together. Smitten is the second word. I just love how completely wrapped up they are in one another. They both are cut from the same cloth for sure! A grand sense of adventure, ( I can’t wait to see photos from their honeymoon in Costa Rica), a devotion to God,  so wonderfully fun and nice, and just so in love with one another. After their first look we went over to Overhills Mansion for a few photos before the ceremony. Even in winter the venue looked fabulous. Can’t believe we had snow flurries after such a warm week earlier, but I love love love Katie and Craig’s ability to just roll with it! Thank you both for being so amazingly awesome and congratulations to you both!!

So anyone who knows me knows I love being on the water and being with dogs. So you can imagine my delight when Kara had the best idea ever, to do photos rain or shine at her home on the water, with their adorable dog Barkley! As I was driving to the Eastern Shore there was some serious rain coming down. Though we could have rescheduled we decided to tough it out, and see what the weather brought us. Turns out, it was a great day for photos. Barkley was in a great mood (he got to eat a lot of treats), we had Cathy MOG, there to help us out, and we had Casey and Kara being themselves, and just having a blast with one another! I am so thankful for these two. Of course they made my job easy by being great sports, and just a lot of fun. But they also were really just a joy to be around. I loved seeing how completely devoted they are to one another.I Cannot wait for their wedding this year, and know there will be joyful tears, and lots of laughter!

No record setting blizzard was going to keep Jessica and Stephen and I from photographing their engagement photos. Not Snowzilla, Snow-Jsimpson, or Snowapalooza. If these two could make it down here from New York, then we were going to do this thing, and boy am I glad we did! There are few things I love more than a blanket of fresh snow in a park. We went off to Druid Hill in Baltimore and plowed through the two feet of snow, to find a few completely romantic spots to let these two just enjoy each other’s company. From wrapping up in a warm blanket, to doing a little sledding on a snowboard we commandeered, to have a glass of wine or malt liquor. We had such am amazing time, and I am so excited to share these winter wonderland photos! Jessica and Stephen, see you soon!!
