Avia and Alex at Green Meadows Petting Farm

Some days the stars align and you get to meet people who are beautiful inside and out, people like Avia and Alex. You arrive to my photography heaven when you add that combination with such wonderfully photogenic animals like, bison, horses, kangaroos, llamas, baby goats, … I could go on. Don’t get me wrong, it was freezing for these love bird’s wedding, but they took one for the team, and we went around the farm giving and getting love wherever we went. Avia, has a wonderful sense of style. I love the cake table her dad made for her. And I had never seen engagement photos used to rim the cake before. I love it! I am so happy to know these two, and am even happier that you know one another. Thank you both! You are absolutely lovely.

Kerri and Tim’s wedding at Renditions

My luckiness with couples astounds me sometimes. These two, are so sweetly romantic, fun, and really up for anything, that it made my “job” that much easier. I love how they read vows to one another on Renditions beautiful stone bridge. And how, they were willing to throw a little caution to the wind and sit on the bridge and just look at the beautiful golf course. They were also willing to tromp through a little soft dirt, (definitely not mud lol), for some of my favorite photos. They incorporated a little festive Halloween feel, fall decor, a little star gazing (shout out to Nasa), and finished off with a dollar dance donated to their local pet rescue. Any one who knows me, knows that is a cupid arrow to my heart. Thank you both for being just so wonderful and for your generous hearts. Congratulations to you both!!

Alison and Andrew’s Wedding at Strong Mansion

I met Alison at her brother’s wedding several years ago. I fell in love with how inviting their family was then, and was so happy to be able to photograph Alison’s wedding this past October! She and Andrew chose Strong Mansion for their venue, and I am so glad they did! It is nestled beautifully in Sugarloaf Mountain, and sits as a stunning white neoclassical mansion on a hill. I loved the stone wall on the grounds. It made a perfect backdrop for our first look, and bridal party photos. The setting reminds me of Alison, beautiful, understated and elegant, she is a ray of light to those she meets. Seeing her so happy with Andrew is one of the reason I love to photograph weddings. I am so beyond thrilled for both of them, and wish them much love and happiness!!

Jess and Mike’s Wedding at Herrington on the Bay

If laid back perfection is a thing, then it is personified by Jess. From her grace, her style, and her roll with it personality, she has been such an amazing bride to know. Couple that with the fact that she is gorgeous, and that Mike is perfectly matched to her, just made my day! Now throw in a surprise dove send off, a hawk to deliver the rings, and fireworks right after cake?! In heaven!! These two are such a joy to be around. One thing I love about weddings, is seeing the couple surrounded by their loved ones. You know these two are special by the group that came to celebrate with them! Jess and Mike, I have loved getting to know you. I wish you love and happiness and really just a fun and happy marriage! Congratulations!!

Brittany and Joseph’s Rustic Barn Wedding

I really don’t even know where to begin. These two have been together through it all. They started out when they were just kids, and now they have two little ones together. I love their journey, and where it has brought them, to this amazing day at Jubilee Farm and Vineyard. To say I was giddy not only to photograph these two beautiful people, and their adorable family, but also to photograph at Jubilee with it’s river setting, white-washed barn, stunning garden, dirt roads, oh I could go on. We actually went back the next day to grab a few extra photos. Now we all need to take pause, and just relish in Brittany’s dress. I love the lace, the vintage feel, and that her mini me has one that looks the same. We had such a beautiful day, and I couldn’t be happier for these two! Congratulations Brittany and Joseph!
