Rachael and Marshall’s Waterfront Engagement Shoot

I haven’t blogged an engagement session for a while, but it is time. And who better than Rachael and Marshall! Goofy people are some of my most favorite people, which puts Rachael and Marshall, (especially Marshall in the goofyometer) at the top. We were so excited to find this little gem of a location in Southern Maryland. Not only did it have a beautiful cliff, dunes, and an all around stunning vista, but it had, wait for it, a payphone! So that was golden.  The weather was perfect, the lighting gorgeous, the lovebirds exactly how you want lovebirds to be! And although there pup couldn’t make it to our session, we photographed Rachael’s gorgeous ring on a pine cone, in honor of their little cutie, who loves nothing more than to chomp away at them. Thank you both for being up for anything and just rolling with it! I can’t wait to see what your wedding has in store! See you before you know it!

Eastern Shore Wedding at the Silver Swan

Lauren and Will are two genuinely beautiful people. They are caring and compassionate, and really make me so very happy I know them. Now on top of just being wonderful to work with, I have to say I have a few personal highlights from their wedding. Firstly, I LOVE Lauren’s dress, it is completely romantic, and it makes my heart swoon. Then there is the fact that they may be the two best dippers I have ever photographed. The sunset, was drop dead perfect at Silver Swan, and lastly, the toasts. OMG the toasts. Here are the highlights, a shirtless Brady Anderson poster, guest appearances by some fav Orioles players. (You’ll see in the photos), and jugging a Zima that was strategically placed under the sweetheart table. Need I say more??? Well just in joy the photos. Love these two, and I am so over the moon for them. <3

Pierce meet world. World meet Pierce.

One of my greatest joys being a wedding photographer, is the continued relationships I have with my brides and grooms over the years. I love seeing their joys, adventures, and of course their families grow. For years I have been photographing adorable cuties like Pierce. But now, that I have a new studio (More to come on that exciting news), I thought that I would love to do some more portraiture photographs. So to kick off the portraiture, I will share this beautiful family’s photos. A few years ago I photographed Jean and Michael’s beautiful wedding in Virginia, and two years ago I got to meet Kenzie their beautiful little girl. I am so very blessed to know Jean, her sisters, and the rest of her family. Thank you all for trusting me with your photos and your memories. It has been truly wonderful knowing you all.

Nick and Katelyn’s Eastern Shore Wedding

I really do luck out with my couples. Their joy, their beauty. I am a lucky lucky photographer to have known some amazing people. Katelyn and Nick are beyond amazing. They have known each other for most of their lives, and have become such a beautiful couple. You can tell they compliment one another and are so immensely loved not only by each other, but by family and friends, and probably everyone that meets them. Their wedding at the Silver Swan on Kent Island showcased their love for the water, a decor that is both simple, and elegant, and a cake table that has yet to be topped. Hitched by Heather could not have done a more stunning job in helping Katelyn and Nick’s vision come to life. I am so glad these two are local to my neck of the woods, and I hope I see them often, and just as snuggly with one another as they are today. Congratulations you two!

Rachel and Nick’s Eastern Shore Wedding!

When you first meet Rachel and Nick you feel like you’ve known them forever. They are warm and inviting, funny, and easy going. They love their dog Ruby and all things Eastern Shore. If I had to some them both up in one word, I would say genuine. I am so lucky to have met Rachel through a mutual friend. We got together at Rustico in the Eastern Shore over some appetizers, and I immediately knew we were friends. 🙂 What I didn’t know at the time, was just how amazing Rachel’s sense of style and class were. I mean this girl was able to throw Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, and vintage class elements into her wedding and make it work beautifully. Rachel and Nick, congratulations to you both! I hope to see more of the two of you, and I wish you both much love and happiness!!
